Each person faces two counts of inflicting great bodily injury upon a child, according to the Richland County Sheriff’s Department.
During questioning, investigators found inconsistencies in the parents’ statements, leading them to be suspects.
Officials said warrants were issued on February 24 for all three individuals following the investigation.
The suspects agreed to turn themselves in on March 3 at the Alvis S. Glenn Detention Center.
The infants remained under medical supervision but did not suffer life-threatening injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
